Parliamentary Candidate - Michael Ellis

Michael's Experience

Michael has previously served as a councillor on Northamptonshire County Council for Parklands.

Alongside his legal work, Michael has also been a regular contributor to international broadcasters like CNN and BBC News on royal and constitutional matters.

About Michael

Michael Ellis was born in Northampton and is a barrister in the town. He has appeared in many of the town's most high profile criminal cases over the last decade.

Michael was selected by local residents at an Open Primary in December 2006. He is proud to be a local candidate for his home town.

Campaigning on...

Michael has pledged to work hard for people in Northampton North and to address the key issues being faced in the town. Using his political and legal experience, Michael will work with the Borough and County Councils in Northampton to help local people.

Michael has been involved in the campaign by local Conservatives to 'Stop Brown's NHS Cuts' which are affecting Northampton General Hospital. He is also campaigning to Save Northants Police which are threatened with 42 job cuts because of a cut in Labour Government spending.
